WoW Guide: Farming with leveling

1) Main key: Get gathering professions! There is nothing more important than this one. I frequently use mining and skinning, but any of them work. Put up for sale the raw materials that you gather with them at the auction house. They sell similar to hotcakes for vast gold. With mining, do not smelt them if you do not have to. They sell enhanced as ores. The only time I suggest smelting them is to get your skill up if the mining nodes are initial to out level you.

2) Solo: This is not to say you should not group. I highly recommend grouping. But for raw cash, unhappy, group play can not touch solo. As long as you solo in an area that has a lot of ores, skin able animals, herbs, etc you will out cash groups easily. Groups can get you superior gear, but who really cares? You'll out level it in a few days anyway.

3) Do not waste money on great gear: I see lots of player doing this. Quite frankly, leveling goes pretty fast. There is no reason to be decked out in blues that willpower be surpassed by greens in a few levels. Just buy polite greens every 5-10 levels and be on your way. The only exemption is melee characters benefit greatly from good weapons, so maybe spend on a good weapon.

4) Be a smart players using the AH: Selling at the auction house has to be complete with smarts. Anymore, batches of the greens you get from drops do not sell all that well at the auction house. After 2 or 3 failed auctions you would have been better off vendoring it. So be elegant about what you put up. No one is going to pay up for chain armor loaded with spirit, just vendor it. Consider who would want to use the armor previous to trying to sell it. If you can not think of any class that could really use it, do not bother throw your money putting it up at the AH.

5) Look for twink items: High-quality twink items (specially ones that have required levels of 19 or 29) can sell for tons of gold. The people buying these are most likely level 70 twinking out their low levels for battlegrounds. That earnings 20 gold is nothing to them. If you are fortunate enough to get blue drops in this range, enjoys a HUGE payday.
